Rhododendron 'Virginia Richards'

This striking rhododendron cultivar produces distinctive funnel-shaped blooms that open in rosy-pink tones, gradually transitioning through apricot to soft yellow with pinkish-red markings. Each compact truss displays 10-12 flowers measuring 4½ inches across, creating a full, rounded appearance. The plant develops a well-branched, mounded form with elliptic foliage that persists for three years and displays a yellowish-green hue. Ideal for woodland gardens and mixed borders, this variety thrives in acidic, well-draining soil with afternoon shade.
