At Green Thumb we are always seeking individuals with the specialized skill of being able to identify hundreds if not thousands of plant/tree varieties (often including understanding the common and Latin naming convention) and assessing product quality. This skill is highly sought after and aligns well with being able to fulfill sales orders. This job requires staff to take a fulfillment order then drive our field locations to locate the specific item/quantity and deliver to the loading area for waiting delivery trucks or wholesale customer pick up. Along with plant/tree ID skills, working independently, efficiently, and problem solving in a physical role often in all weather conditions are requirements for success in this critical Nursery role. A Nursery Crew Member is generally an entry level role to start. Working as part of a team taking direction from the Crew Supervisor or Lead to perform various outdoor plant/tree production and maintenance tasks. Such as but not limited to Potting, Field work and weeding. Opportunities exist to run equipment, work on facilities & Maintenance tasks, work in the greenhouses, deliver plant material to our customers and support propagation.
