Helleborus 'Sun Flare' features stunning petals that range from pale to rich golden yellow, accented by striking deep pink to red picotee edges. The gold varieties in this series also display vibrant golden foliage in fall and winter. Part of the Winter Jewels Series developed by renowned breeder Marietta O’Byrne, these hellebores are excellent companions to darker-toned flowers, highlighting their colors against the spring soil. They are deer-resistant, thrive in shade to partial sun, and were honoured as Perennial Plant of the Year in 2005.
