Calluna vulgaris 'Angie' (Heather)

Angie Heather is a distinctive bud-flowering variety of Calluna vulgaris commonly available in garden centers. Instead of true flowers, its buds persist on the plant for several months, providing extended seasonal interest. The corolla and calyx are deep red, with medium-sized buds that appear from September through December. It features dark green foliage and grows upright, reaching approximately 60cm in height and 50cm in width after five years. This variety offers a vibrant and long-lasting colour display during the cooler months.
