Acer palmatum ‘Green Trompenburg’ is a distinctive Japanese maple prized by many gardeners. It features the characteristic cupped leaves of 'Trompenburg' but in a vibrant green hue. This variety remains more compact, growing to about 6 feet tall within a decade. For optimal development, provide 'Green Trompenburg' with shade from intense afternoon sun. In autumn, its foliage transforms into striking shades of bright yellow and orange.
