Rhododendron 'Bariton'

The Rhododendron 'Bariton' features openly funnel-shaped flowers with gently undulating lobes, measuring approximately 2 inches across. Each blossom showcases a deep reddish-purple interior edge, a lighter purple center, and a dark blackish-red blotch, while the exterior displays a purple hue tinged with reddish-purple. These flowers are grouped in dense clusters of 14 to 16, forming ball-shaped trusses. Its narrowly lanceolate leaves, glossy medium green with an acute tip and cuneate-rounded base, range from 4¾ to 6 inches in length. The plant exhibits a vigorous upright growth habit.
