Nickname as "the Hulk" due to its robust central leader and durable branch structure, it sports ovate, sharply toothed, dark green leaves that retain their color throughout summer. In autumn, its foliage shifts to a vibrant golden-yellow. This variety produces yellow or green catkins and is distinguished by smooth gray bark with prominent, muscle-like fluting. Blooms appear in early spring, highlighting its seasonal interest.
