Cistus x cyprius var. ellipticus 'Elma'

Elma Rockrose is an evergreen shrub reaching 5 feet in height and width with an upright habit. Its opposite, simple leaves are oblong-lanceolate, measuring 3 to 10 cm, featuring a pine-scented aroma and a gray-green, softly hairy underside. The shrub produces large white flowers up to 7 cm across, each with a yellow center and a distinctive basal yellow spot on the petals, blooming in spring to early summer. It thrives in full sun with well-drained soil, tolerates drought conditions, and is considered resistant to deer.
