Rhododendron 'Point Defiance'

Rhododendron 'Point Defiance' features broadly funnel-shaped flowers with a dense texture, spanning 4½ inches. The petals display a white centre bordered by red along each lobe, fading to nearly pure white as they age. Flowers are arranged in tight clusters of 15 to 17. Its leaves are elliptic with a pointed tip, rounded base, measuring 7¼ inches long, with leathery texture, recurved margins, and a pronounced midrib, exhibiting a muted dark green colour. The plant grows upright with a sturdy habit.
