Malus fusca

Malus fusca, commonly known as Oregon crabapple or Pacific crabapple, is a crabapple species native to western North America. This deciduous tree can grow up to 43 feet tall and features a trunk 8 to 10 inches in diameter. Its leaves, measuring 2 to 3 inches long, are dark green on the upper surface and pale with a fibrous texture underneath, turning vivid orange to red in fall. In spring, it produces white to pale pink flowers. The fruit are small, round pomes about 2 cm long, ranging from red to yellow-green, often persisting through winter. These trees can live for over a century.
