Common privet. Evergreen shrub, traditionally used for formal borders & hedging
Average height & spread is 10ft x 10ft 
Full sun to part shade, white fragrant flowers in Spring.
Does not tolerate wet soils. Tolerant of urban conditions. Prune as needed immediately after flowering. Hedges are commonly trimmed 1-2 times in summer. Plants will naturalize by self-seeding in optimum growing conditions, and may form thickets in areas where growth is not controlled.
